Stephen Hendricks, Steering Committee member

Stephen began playing guitar at a young age and started composing instrumentals while in the Navy.  He later turned his talent at poetry into lyric writing. Stephen’s style blends jazz, classical and folk with a little Spanish and New Age. He is known for his fingerstyle guitar, usually played in alternate tunings.  His lyrics are often about love or humorous interpretations of the human condition.

Randy Souhrada, Steering Committee member

A real home-grown artist, Randy was born and raised in the deep interior of Alaska. His first love was the splendor around him and that may be the essence of his second love, music. Writing and performing has been a mainstay in his life for more than 35 years. He likes to tell stories and let each story have a life of its own. “When the tale strikes a chord with the audience, that’s magic.”
